GHANA CAMP (Aug. 17-22, 2025 Pan-African Problem Solvers’ Challenge for Secondary School Students (PAPSC)

Invitation: Pan-African Problem Solvers Challenge (PAPSC) 2025 - Ghana

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing to invite secondary school students and teachers to participate in the Pan-African Problem Solvers Challenge (PAPSC) 2025, taking place in Ghana from August 17-22, 2025.

The PAPSC is a pan-African competition designed to enhance students' problem-solving skills through engaging challenges. This program offers a unique opportunity to develop creativity, teamwork, and collaboration.

The PAPSC 2025 comprises three rounds:

1. Qualification Round: Students solve problems related to renewable energy solutions for a local school or community center.
2. Pre-Final Round: Students tackle more complex problem sets, potentially involving academic research papers.
3. Final Round: Finalists demonstrate their skills in Ghana, with top participants receiving awards and certificates.

The Qualification Round for the Ghana trip involves an online quiz competition, open until Thursday, May 29, 2025. The quiz will assess creativity, analytical skills, collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills. Resources for the Ghana challenge, including the problem set, flyers, and posters, will be available on www.africatopschools.com in June 2025.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with your students and teachers. The fee for the online quiz competition is ₦1,000 per student or ₦50,000 per school (for up to 100 students). The cost for the Ghana camp (by road from Abuja/Lagos) is ₦850,000 per participant. Total cost by air from Lagos is ₦1,450,000 per participant. We also have a separate program for adult participants.
