Will you like your school to be a coordinating center for this transformative program for African students and schools? Contact us now at [email protected], or by WhatsApp to 08023308188.
Our vision is to help African students to climb out of poverty, break away from a disadvantaged upbringing, and aim for the stars.
ABR Students Well-being Ambassadors (ABR- SWA) will be established in every school. They will take the lead in the fight against bullying, and in the promotion of students' well-being activities.
Your school, the African school, must hope to raise happy and well-adjusted children/ students. A poor upbringing will cause students to suffer from anxiety, depression, authenticity, aggression, self-doubt, self-sabotage, substance use, emotional and social health. It is good and essential now, to foster positive well-being in our students. We are having issues of bullying attacks in great school brands, and the youth are seeing protest as an opportunity for wanton destruction of properties.
Examples of where students have been involved in destructive behavior recently: Federal College of Education, Akoka -Yaba, Lagos State (July 2024); protests in some of Nigeria states (August 2024), and the UK protests that started in an asylum house (August 2024) . Hence, highlighting the need for proactive programs that support youth development and mental health.
The ABR-SWA was launched @ the Ikeja Airport Hotel Limited, Ikeja-Lagos State, Nigeria on December 7, 2023, by the African Principals Conference Initiative.
